Kann Tree Farm Walk

Kann Tree Farm is our Demonstration Forest of Monroe county. This walk will be an opportunity for community members to learn about sustainable forestry practices, habitat management, and available funding through NRCS programs. A catered lunch will follow the group walk.

Ziolkowski Woodland Forest Walk

Ziolkowski Woodland is our Demonstration Forest within Portage county. This event is a perfect opportunity to learn about oak tree management and will include guest speakers from Peterson Horticulture and US Fish and Wildlife Service. Event is great for all ages - come join us for an enriching Saturday!

CWIP/NEWIP Steering Committee Meeting
October 8th, 2024
9:30am-3:00pm
CWIP and NEWIP will hold their Steering Committee meetings at Mosquito Hill in New London. Between the two meetings, there will be a guest speaker from Glacierland RC&D, a catered lunch, and a group hike. This is a great opportunity to network with conservation professionals and learn about the invasive species work being done in Wisconsin counties. Event is free to attend but RSVP is required for catered food.
