About the event
In partnership with Golden Sands RC&D, Sauk County, Vernon County, Valley Stewardship Network, and Fields of Sinsinawa, we are hosting Steve Kenyon to speak to farmers in Wisconsin about custom grazing. The agenda for the event on includes a producer panel on custom grazing, presentation on custom grazing by Steve Kenyon, facilitated discussions on producer-led watershed groups, and a pasture walk focused on rotational grazing methods, tools including the eShepherd virtual fencing collars that are in use at the Mound, and the watershed studies underway at the Mound led by UW Platteville.
Tickets $20. Ticket include a buffet lunch, vendor booths and a farm tour on the Sinsinawa Mound property where virtual fencing is used.
Registration deadline August 15th. Open to the public.
