Royal Oaks Demonstration Forest Event

Join Golden Sands RC&D for a forest walk through a beautiful property in Monroe County at the Royal Oaks Demonstration Forest! The landowners are coming up on a timber harvest and the walk will include discussing habitat plans in specific areas including an open oak woodland restoration, invasive species prep for opening of the canopy, burn effects and burn history in some areas and much more. Snacks and refreshments will be provided!
