Join us March 15th for the March edition of Tap Talks for a BOOMING good time with Shawn and Bill from the Prairie Chicken Project!


Shawn O'Connell, Central Wisconsin native and life long fan of the Wisconsin greater prairie chicken is the lead coordinator for Prairie Chicken Project work days here in Central Wisconsin.


Bill koepke is a certified prairie chicken nut and enjoys walking Wisconsin grasslands following behind a bird crazy hunting dog. Bill coordinates Prairie Chicken Project media and fundraising.


This workshop will highlight the current status of Wisconsin grassland habitat and the upcoming Wisconsin prairie chicken festival. While diving into what the prairie chicken project is doing to raise awareness and help the WI DNR accomplish their land management plan.


There will be a habitat sticker donation opportunity and art raffle for those in attendance.
