About the event
We will be hosting our first Demo Forest meeting through funding from the UW Center for Cooperatives on June 16th! This meeting will be held at the Antler Rock Demonstration Forest in Almond, WI. Community members are welcome to join and Demonstration Forest landowners are highly encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be provided to participants!
4:00-5:00PM - Group Walk/Hike
Participants will explore the Antler Rock Demonstration Forest as a group with commentary from the landowner. Showcased features will include restored oak savannah and diverse mixed hardwood forest. Terrain will be mostly flat with some small hills on gravel or mowed paths.
5:00-6:00PM - General meeting and Refreshments
A casual meeting to provide introductions, landowner updates, and general discussion. Refreshments will be provided to participants. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions!
