Healthy wildlife populations require healthy habitat. Golden Sands RC&D works with private landowners in twelve counties to form woodland cooperatives through our Cooperating for Woods and Wildlife program. This program helps enhance wildlife habitat for birds, amphibians, reptiles and mammals.

Through this program, neighboring landowners receive woodland-specific consultation services from their county Wildlife Biologist and Forester. The program also encourages neighbors to collaborate with one another to enhance forest health and manage invasive species.

For more information on woodland cooperative opportunities visit our Cooperating for Woods and Wildlife page.
