Hard work pays off: After six years of work parties, the improvement is visible. The buckthorn and honeysuckle are less and less dominant, and the native plants and shrubs have room to grow again... but there is still lots of work to do!

You can help! We need adult volunteers to help chaperone the high school students as they work on the island. (No experience is necessary, and we bring all the equipment.) You can also sponsor the event to help provide supplies or cover the bussing expense for the students.
