Hard work pays off: After two years of work parties, the improvement is visible! The buckthorn and honeysuckle are less and less dominant, and the natives have room to grow again.

There is still lots of work to do. We need adult volunteers to help chaperone the high school field trip on Friday, October 17th. On Saturday, October 18th, volunteers of all ages are welcome join the work party and continue the restoration work.

Golden Sands RC&D would like to acknowledge Besadney Grant funding that made possible the purchase of much needed equipment for this year's work party.
